The documentary about the first Amercian Football club in Croatia has officially been released. Filming on "Thunder" first started in the middle of 2007 and first saw light almost two years later. The film was made completely with private resources with the exceptio of the music and translation. The author did everything else himself. In the meantime the film has won a few awards on the documentary movie circuit, most notably with its entry in the Queens Film Festival, Nevada Film Festival, and Accolade Film Festival. You can read more about the film here. The film has been on sale in Croatia for a few days now and is currently available in limited quantities. It will be for sale as a DVD for the price of 40 kn. About the author:
The director of "Thunder", Hrvoje Krstičević, was born on 25.12.1979 in Čakovec. Until now he has been working as a sports journalist for various portals in Croatia. In one of the afore-mentioned functions he acted as the announcer for the Zagreb basketball club for three years. This is his first film project.
